Common questions
The library is locked but I already subscribed
Open the subscription screen and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with. It never charges you.
How do I cancel?
In your phone's subscription settings, not in Berry. Step by step for iPhone and Android: Cancelling.
How do I get a refund?
Apple and Google handle payments, so refunds go through them. See Refunds; if you are stuck, email us and we will help.
How do I open the parent area?
Head to the grown-ups' section and answer the grown-up question Berry shows. It is there so small children cannot change settings or buy anything.
How do I add, edit or remove a child?
In the parent area, open your children list. You can add up to six profiles, change a name, birth year or avatar, or delete a profile and its progress.
Can we use Berry on more than one device?
Yes. Sign in to the same account on each device and progress follows each child. Restore your purchase on the new device if the library shows as locked.
A book will not open offline
Downloads need Berry Family and must finish while you are online. Check the Downloads screen to see what is saved on this device.
Narration is silent
Check the device is not on silent (iPhone has a switch or Action button), turn the volume up, and make sure Read To Me is switched on for the book.
How do I delete my account?
Parent area, Settings, Delete account. Or email us. Details on Delete your account.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password? and we will email you a reset link. If you signed up with Apple or Google, sign in with the same button again.

Report a concern about a book
Every book is reviewed by a person before it goes live, but if something does not feel right for your child, tell us the book title and page and we will look at it the same day where we can.
